Eulogy for Nonno
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
It's always difficult to deliver flowers for a bereavement.
But it's even more difficult when the grieving family mistakes you for their long-lost cousin and won't let you leave "your" grandfather's wake.
This is a short adventure game made for the $109 Adventure Game Challenge (7-21 September 2025) whose theme was: You are the Wrong Person. The protagonist must be mistaken for someone else. The game must entirely hinge on this mistaken identity.
Left click anywhere to walk. When on a hotspot, left click will perform the interaction specified by the cursor (look, take, talk, use), while right click always looks, both on hotspots and inventory objects. For almost all hotspots the first action will be look, and the action will change after examining it.
By default the text will auto-advance. You can change to wait for click in the options menu.

I always look forward to playing your games. Polished to a beauty, with nothing to distract from the funny writing. The puzzles tend to always come in threes, but I don't mind, they are varied enough anyway. Great game!

Great game, loved the story and the ending!
Great game, as always! A bit on the easier side (compared to your other games, I felt), but very fun and engaging. I wasn’t prepared with a certain person’s name when I entered a location and died immediately, haha! But other than that, it went smoothly. Ending was perfect, loved it! :D

I laughed by the end's lines when the story ends. You should never assume anything about families. I liked watching how the cook reacted when he placed items back on wrong places. The hints during gameplay were also quite clear which made it easy to solve.
I also wanted to see what happens to him when he said wrong eulogy. I learned a new word "factotum".
Funny game! :)
Factotum was the shortest way to say I made everything myself 😛 there was no room in the credits page otherwise!

Uno dei giochi più carini e divertenti che abbiamo fatto in stream nell'ultimo anno! Mi sono sentita chiamata in causa essendo della Sicilia, avendo un nome simile a quello della famiglia e avendo un cago assurdo dei manichini! Il twist che ha la storia, i dialoghi, il gameplay, è tutto geniale, mi sono divertita pure a doppiarlo!
Recupererò assolutamente gli altri giochi che avete fatto! <3

Don't worry, I found out that those names all sound the same to non-Italians 😄I think I'll start with a new non-jam game soon, I waited long enough and it's time to start a new adventure!
